PS3 Firmware 2.4 to Have In-Game XMB
I can't tell you how much the PS3 needs this. Finally in-game cross media bar (XMB) is set for an early July 08 release. The only question is: will Playstation 3 finally be getting custom soundtracks? How about Blu-Ray XMB support.

Update 2.4 Will Also Include Trophies
Something that 360 owners probably take for granted is the achievements and gamerscore points. Now Sony is releasing their own progress tracker with its trophies. Good for them. Firmware 2.4 will be released in July 08.

Most Played Live Game? GTA4!
Grand Theft Auto 4 has unlocked the achievement of most played live game on 360. In second was Call of Duty 4, and third was Halo 3. Good job Rockstar. Lets just hope that the DLC has some multiplayer stuff too.

New Channel Hits Wii Consoles
The Nintendo channel is up and running; and boy did Wii ever need this. On this channel you can do things like get game info, videos and Nintendo DS demos for free. To get this channel download it from the shop channel.

Wii Ware Hits North America in May 08
The all new game download service hits the shop channel in May 08. These smaller, Wiimote enabled games will cost you some Wii points and possibly some microtransactions. Turn Wii Connect24 on, and wait for the glow.
